Vagabond of Limbo characters : Matt Gammone
Professor Matt Gammone is Axle Munshine's most indispensable travelling companion.
He is his friend, his mentor, his teacher, his closest male confidant, and he acts as the Silver Dolphin spaceship's doctor ; but he's also Axle's greatest source of knowledge, as Matt's brain is actually a huge scientific and technological databank. For he is an android – but quite probably the most human android ever invented.
Korian Munshine, his inventor, created Matt in order to entrust his son Axle to him.
Matt is prepared to protect his charge and give his life for him, and the close friendship that developped over the years between the Vagabond of Limbo and himself goes way beyond the support any human could expect from a robot, not matter how finely tuned to act devoted that robot might be.
