The Silver Dolphin - so much more than your basic, garden-variety spaceship !

The Dolphin is Axle Munshine's only true home ; his best weapon ; his main remaining communication link with his missing father ; an amazing vehicle enabling him to explore the galaxy ; and a constantly surprising, informative contact, with whom Axle interacts.
For this spaceship is actually "alive".

She behaves almost as a living, breathing traveling companion : infinitely mutable, with an almost eerie ability to adapt to circumstances, the Dolphin's supple fuselage changes shapes and sizes in order to adjust to whatever the need of the hour may be.
Her hull can twist and turn and curve up in a ball and stretch at will ; this ship is so huge she seems to contain worlds, and the dashboard occasionally pops up with mysterious flight controls and strange encoded keyboards that even android Matt Gammone, equipped as he is with an amazingly powerful internal computer, hasn't cracked yet.

As wide as a real city in space, the ship features changing landscapes, a forest, birds, a brook, a glade where Musky likes to hide whenever she feels blue, a strange cavern inside which Korian Munshine sometimes seems to connect telepathically with his son…

The Silver Dolphin is also hiding in her flanks one of Korian's secret labs, where some strange machines are consigned, along with some potentially dangerous unfinished experiences, in various scientific fields, from medicine and chemistry to cybernetics or even quantum physics.

But enemies of the Vagabond of Limbo mostly view his legendary spaceship as a major war weapon - resilience and firepower make the Dolphin a coveted asset among many ambitious would-be tyrants who dream of controlling the Universe.

The Silver Dolphin survived the exploration of a Black Hole tearing through space, and can even brave Time itself…

Her only rival is the Golden Dolphin, the Silver Dolphin's "sister ship" controlled by the Guild.

Although the spaceships were originally intended to be identical, they are both constantly evolving over time… And any space vehicle is only ever as good as the pilot in charge.
It just so happens that no-one could ever rival with the unspoken understanding, verging on osmosis, between Axle Munshine and his prodigious Silver Dolphin…
